Paper Jack ‘O Lantern

10/6/14

Today we made paper pumpkins.

Materials:
Paper plate or paper cut out in a pumpkin shape
Orange paper or tissue paper cut or torn into pieces
Black paper cut into shapes for the face
Glue
Optional scissors

Fist cut or tear your orange paper. I cut for my 1 yr old then decided tearing was faster. My two yr old cut his own. Then put glue on the paper plate and fill with orange pieces. Next, glue on the eyes, nose, mouth and any other pieces for the face you want.

The idea for this project came from no Time for Flashcards. I changed the project a bit by using the paper and gluing on pieces instead of using paint. My 2 yr old had a very unique vision for how his Jack ‘O Lantern should look.
